not dinner, mama.

not groceries, mama.

let's cuddle on the couch, mama.

birth stories

five years ago.
we discovered you were growing in my womb.  i already knew.  a test only told the rest of the world.

today.
we wait for you.  no tests to take. no tummy to show the signs.  only hope and prayer and waiting and trusting.  you grow in another's womb.  and in my heart.  bigger every day.  you're coming home someday, baby.  we're all on a journey, baby - you, me, birth parents, daddy and brother - that brings us closer to each other.
